WEBSITE TERMS

www.margroseapothecary.com (“Site”) is operated by Margaret Rose Apothecary Limited. (“We”, “Us”, ‘Our”). We are registered in England and Wales under the company number 7606594. 

Please read our terms carefully before you use the Site. By using the Site, you indicate that you accept these terms and that you agree and abide by them. If you do not agree with these terms, you do not have our permission to use our site. 

Accessing our site 

Site access is permitted on a temporary basis and we reserve the right to withdraw or amend the service we provide on our site without notice. We will not be liable if for any reason our “Site” is unavailable at any time or for any period. You are also responsible for ensuring that all persons who access our “Site “through your internet connection are aware of these terms, and that they comply with them. 

As our Site is controlled, operated and administered from the UK we do not claim that any of its contents is appropriate or available for use at any other location outside the United Kingdom. If you access the site from a location outside of the United Kingdom, you are responsible for compliance with all local laws. 

Resolution of disputes 

We will do our best to resolve any disputes with you efficiently and swiftly. In the event that we cannot we will let you know that we cannot. The website and product terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or this subject matter shall be governed by and construct in accordance in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. 

Your user account 

If you register for an account on our Site, you will need a username (email address) and password. You will be responsible for keeping your username and password s secret and for preventing unauthorised access to you account. You are responsible for all activities that occur when using your account. You must take all necessary steps to ensure that your details are kept secret and secure and should inform us immediately to admin@margroseapothecary.com if you have any reason to believe that your username and password have been compromised or used in an unauthorised manner. Please ensure that the details you provide us are correct, complete and appropriate. You agree to inform us immediately of any changes to the information that you provided when registering. You can access and update the information you provided us with in the My Account area of the Site. 

Reliance on information posted 

We do our best to always ensure that the information on our site is accurate, However, there may be times when there are errors. We do not accept any liability for loss or damage caused by inaccurate information. If you spot information which you think is incorrect please inform us at shirley@margroseapothecary.com.

We are the owner or the licensee of all intellectual property rights in our Site, and in the material published on it. These are protected by copyright laws and treaties around the world. All such rights are reserved. Our status as the authors of material on our site must always be acknowledged. 

All logos, photos etc are owned by Margaretrose Apothecary Ltd. You may not use these without our consent.

Anytime you post comments on our site you must comply with the content rules set out below. We will not be responsible, or liable to any third party, for the content or accuracy of any posting posted by you. We have the right to remove any material or posting made if in our opinion, it is not in compliance with the content rules. 

We will fully comply with the authorities or any court order requesting or directing us to disclose the identity of anyone posting or transmitting any information or materials on or through our Site. You must notify us anytime you are aware that an unlawful or prohibited use by third parties has occurred. 

Postings by you will be considered non-confidential and you will own the copyright o fit. We have the right to use this material for any purpose and to display the name that you submit in connection with the material. We also have the right to disclose your identity to any third party who claims that any material posted or uploaded by you to our site constitutes a violation of their intellectual property rights, or their right to privacy. 

We advise that you do not disclose any personal information on any postings and whilst we do not have any obligation to moderate postings on the Site, you may report any material that you consider to be in breach of the rules set out above by emailing us.

Changes to the terms and conditions of our website may change at any time, therefore it is your responsibility to ensure you are up to date with this information. Provisions contained herein including website and product terms may supersede provisions or notices published in other areas of our Site. 

Our Site will be updated from time to time. This may mean that we will need to suspend access to our site any time. Also, there may be times when material on our site may be out of date, and we are under no obligation to update such material. 

Your information and visit to our site 

We process information about you in accordance with our Privacy and Cookies policies. By using our site, you consent to such processing and you warrant that all data provided by you is accurate.

You must not knowingly introduce viruses, trojans, or other material which is malicious or technologically harmful. You can link to our site provided you do so legally and avoid damage limitation to our reputation. You must not create any link to any section of our Site except our home page. We reserve the right to withdraw links to our site without notice. 

Where our Site includes links to other sites, these are on an information only basis. Please note that we have no control over the contents of other sites.

By accepting these website terms, you expressly acknowledge, understand and agree that you are using this site at your own risk. All warranties, conditions and representations, express and implied, including but not limited to, title, non-infringement, merchantability, quality and fitness for purposes hereby included and disclaimed to the fullest extent allowable by law.

We shall not be liable for any indirect consequential, special incidental or punitive losses or damages arising out of or in connection with the use of or reliance on any of its contents. Our total aggregate liability in respect of causes of action that arise, whether in tort, including negligence, breach of contract or otherwise out of, or in connection with the use of the site or the use of or reliance on any of its contents or other information shall not exceed £1, except the extent that any person suffers death or personal injury as a result of our fraudulent misrepresentation or otherwise if and to the extent that any such liability may not be lawfully excluded or limited. 

PRODUCTS, PRICE AND PAYMENTS 

We use PayPal’s industry-leading secure system to process payments. You don’t need a PayPal account to pay this way. The system works just like any other merchant payment system. Simply enter your credit card details and submit your payment. We also accept payment bank transfers; please email us for the details. 

To make an order, order via site, by email or call or text 07939-284-590. By ordering any of our products, you agree to be bound by our Product terms. If you refuse to accept these terms you will not be able to order any of our products from the Site. When buying from our site you agree to be legally bound by these product terms, our Website Terms and any documents referred to in them.  

 

Privacy and Cookie Policy specific terms  apply to certain products. If you want to see these specific terms, please visit the relevant webpage for the Products or click on the link to this page. And conditions at any time during the online checkout process. 

The Consumer Rights Act 2015 gives you certain statutory rights, the Products are of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose and match he description. We must provide you with Products that comply with your legal rights. 

While we endeavour to maintain the lowest possible prices at all times, it occasionally becomes necessary for us to raise our prices based on the rising prices of our raw materials. We reserve the right to do this without notice. 

Packaging may differ from the site. 

We endeavour to ensure that all weights, sizes and measurements set out on the site are as accurate as possible however, there may be slight differences in such weights and measurements on some products. Also, the colours of displayed products are as accurate as possible on the site but may vary depending in the computer or monitor you are using to view the site. Discounted products will be identified accordingly. 

Disclaimer 

Even though our products are made from natural ingredients they are for external use only. Margaretrose Apothecary Ltd accepts no responsibility for the mishandling or misuse of any of our products. Please be aware that when buying goods on the internet, you are entering into a legally binding contract. The contract between the customer and Margaretrose Apothecary Ltd begins once an order has been paid for by the customer. If you feel you have made an error when placing your order, please contact us via email -shirley@margroseapothecary.com so that we can make the correction. UK laws are applicable. 

ORDER PROCESSING

 

Orders must be placed through our website www.margrosepothecary.com . We also accept orders by email. We strive to ship orders within five business days of receipt, but during busy times it may take longer. Please see our Delivery Information page for up-to-date shipping and turnaround times. Once received, orders cannot be amended. We are unable to add items to paid orders. 

OVERDUE ORDERS 

Products are made in batches available to purchase subject to availability, while we try to maintain a constant stock of all of our items, we do sometimes run out. We will make every effort to update you by email if this should happen. 

OUR WORKSHOPS 

 

Amendments or cancellations for course bookings should be made as soon as possible. This should be done 2 weeks before the start date after which cancellations fees will apply. You can only amend your booking date if there is an available date for another within 3 months of your original booking date. 

To cancel a booking, less than 1 week before 70% cancellation charge will apply. Between 2-4 weeks 50 %, and 4 weeks or more 30% fees will apply. 

 

If we change a workshop booking, we will let you know as soon as possible by email and a phone call at least 7 days before. You will be given an opportunity to reschedule, in the event that there is not available date, you will be issued with a full refund. 

 

Takeaway samples will vary from time to time depending on the choice of the group at the time of the booking or availability of ingredients. 

 

Eligibility for workshops 

 

We should be notified of you are pregnant or any relevant illness, injuries or allergies which amy render you unsuitable to attend a workshop.
